    I've been going here for years for electrolysis and it's been life changing. Dao is a perfectionist, which I appreciate and her prices are reasonable. Note that she only takes cash or check.

    What a great first wax experience! I have always done my own waxing so was a little nervous getting waxed by someone else but Victoria was super nice and eased my nerves. She's thorough and quick! I had a few ingrowns which she helped me get rid of. Definitely will be going back!

    Victoria's is still a solid five stars for hair removal! Since my first review over a decade ago, a few things have changed - the studio moved (just a few blocks east, with better parking in my opinion), I've moved (a few times!), I tried laser hair removal (meh), and Dao has upgraded her electrolysis machine (making her process even faster). Through all the changes, my rating and loyalty remains. I can even walk across the street from where I currently live to get waxed instead of driving across the Bay Bridge and halfway across the city to get to Victoria's, but I still prefer Dao! Dao's efficiency, excellent work, affordable prices, and sweet, chatty demeanor keep me coming back. Although my first Brazilian electrolysis session was over 7 years ago, I have only booked/been able to tolerate 30 minute sessions, 1-3x per year. Certain areas of the body have more stubborn hair that requires more sessions, and Dao is very upfront about all of this. A few weeks after each session I notice less and less hair regrowing; there are certain areas where hair has never come back, and the areas that she continues to work on gets smaller and smaller. I look forward to my next session with Dao and I'm thinking I will ask her health/beauty tips, because she doesn't look a day older than the first day I met her!
